I expect you to look for external sources of funding for ALL your conference travel. This includes the two GT sources (COC/Grad) and any conference fellowships that you can find (usually listed on their webpages). Please do this for every conference. After you've done that, I cover whatever charges are left. Travel budgets are relatively small since government sources often don't really want to pay for travel and they do know that other funding sources exist for it.
First, go to Kathy Cheek, our accountant, to get a Travel Authority Request form. A copy of this form needs to be turned in to the CoC and the SGA when submitting an application for travel funding.
