General
There are four networks:
- Inland - CoC Managed Machines, Static IP
- Outland - Non CoC Managed, but registered machines, Static IP
- LAWN - GT Wireless and "Walkup" (plug into ethernet jack) network, DHCP
- Humanoids LAN - Our "private" network in the lab, Static/DHCP
The Inland/Outland/LAWN distinction is done using VLANs. The machines MAC
addressed must be appropriately registered for Inland/Outland, and the same
wall jacks are used for all three networks.
Most of our lab machines are dual-homed, connected to both Outland and the LAN.
DNS
To add a new machine to a TSO network (inland/outland), go to their DNS/IP Request Form.
