March 2013 Dynamic Walking in 5 Days!
Extensive Linux development of the Hubo robot by our lab with close collaboration and support of KAIST and Drexel University is showing some awesome fruit. We have full kinematic control, teleoperation and now walking!!!
Our great friend Prof. Matt Zucker from Swarthmore came over for spring break and led our development of dynamic ZMP walking for Hubo. The system uses preview control and allows us to precisely place the feet of the robot during the walk. These are preliminary results but 5 days for dynamic walking has to be some kind of record :0}
