Student documentary about our developments in the Humanoid Robotics Lab. Directed by Clayton Ziga.
Recent Developments
In collaboration with KAIST we developed ZMP walking on Linux in one week
and proceeded to multiple levels of autonomous behavior.
Golem Krang now has two Schunk arms and Robotiq hands, making it a fully
anthropomorphic mobile manipulator.
Humanoid Robotics Lab
Welcome to the Humanoid Robotics Laboratory at the Georgia Institute
of Technology. Prof. Mike Stilman
founded the lab in 2008 and is the present director.
Our mission is to work towards a future where robots have
human and even super-human capabilities.
This page shares a broad range of information about our activities,
including updates on our projects as well as tools for using various
robots and robot components. Here are some starting pointers:
Golem Krang - An
autonomous humanoid designed for heavy service tasks. It is
capable of transforming from static to dynamic balance, reaching a
human height of nearly 6 feet.
Projects - A page on active
projects in our lab with movies, descriptions and links to PDFs of
publications.
Publications -
Publications on topics ranging from motion planning and control to
high-level reasoning.
